Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring Delivery Drivers for our Clemson Univ store at 102 Fendley St, Clemson, SC 29631. You will deliver cookies and dairy products to customers, verify orders, and provide friendly service while following company delivery app standards.

Availability in evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Enjoy pay-on-demand, flexible part-time schedules, sick time, and growth opportunities as you join a fast-paced, growing bakery delivery team in Clemson.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
• Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to customers in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers.
• Use delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late-night, sweet indulgence companies in the country, and at the present time, we are actively interviewing Delivery Drivers for our Clemson Univ store located at 102 Fendley St. Clemson SC 29631!

What will I do as a Delivery Driver?

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in‑person or by phone
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements
• Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift
• Frequently enter and exit a vehicle
• Stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery
• Lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products
• Work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries
• Work around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise levels
• Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership

Work Environment

You’ll split your time between our bakery and the road. Inside the bakery, you’ll work in a fast‑paced environment with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. Outside the bakery, you’ll drive in varying weather and traffic conditions while following all safety policies and traffic laws.

Schedule Expectations

Our busiest times are evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Delivery Drivers should have availability during these peak business hours. Scheduling needs vary by location.
