We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic team at The Market.

Nestled in the heart of the Short North Arts District, across from the street from the Greater Columbus Convention Center, our hotel boasts 1,000 guest rooms, 72,000 square feet of event space and several unique dining experiences.

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
2. Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
3. Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
4. Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
5. Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
6. Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
7. Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
8. Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
