Job summary

Eurest USA is hiring a Cook Supervisor for a full-time position at Bank of America Savarese in Tampa, FL. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, with no nights or weekends. A ServSafe Manager certification is required, and online applications are accepted only.

The role directly supervises food-service associates, ensures quality and safety per HACCP, and supports purchasing and waste minimization initiatives. Reporting and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Direct supervision of food-service staff in accordance with policies and laws.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management of purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid shortages.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, serving temps, and portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment per procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates food items to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure safety of food supply.
• Operates service equipment safely per policy.
• Assists during meal service and gathers customer feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Operates food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.
• Helps serves meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
