Job summary

Unidine is seeking a full-time Cook Supervisor in Brookline, MA. The role oversees food-service staff, ensures adherence to recipes and safety standards, and maintains quality and portion control across meals. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with holidays off as noted.

Experience in cooking is required, and 5+ years is highly preferred. This position offers a rewarding team environment and opportunities to contribute to service excellence within a leading hospitality

• Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Operate and clean equipment in accordance with department procedures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food quality and safety.
• Operate food-service equipment safely and according to policies.
• Assist in serving meals and gather customer feedback.

• Location: Center Communities of Brookline - 100 Center Street, Brookline, MA 02446.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior cooking experience is required; at least 5 years is highly preferred.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Operates food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.
• Helps serves meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
