Job summary

Unidine is hiring immediately for full time and part time COOK positions at Wesley Meadows Retirement Community in Hernando, MS. Shifts run 6:00 am–6:30 pm with competitive pay and benefits. Prior cooking experience is preferred and uniforms and a meal per shift are provided.

The culinary team focuses on quality service and compliance with HACCP standards, while offering a supportive work environment and opportunities for training and growth.

• Prior cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with proper portioning and serving temperatures.
• Checks food for taste, temperature and presentation during service.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and stores excess food per safety standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in ordering, receiving and inventory as required.
