Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Cook to prepare meals according to standardized recipes and menus, ensuring high quality, taste, and presentation while complying with dietary modifications and safety standards.

You will record production quantities and temperatures, stock and store food safely, and maintain clean kitchen areas. Opportunities to lead food production when the Dining Services Coordinator is away support your growth and impact.

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
