Gundersen Health System in Spring Grove, MN is seeking a part-time Cook to join our care-focused team. You will work 1pm–7pm on a rotating weekly schedule and help prepare meals that meet the nutrition needs of patients, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include maintaining high sanitation and safety standards, keeping the kitchen clean, and assisting with food service operations. This role offers stable hours within a large health system serving Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required (or current student).
• Part-time Cook responsibilities include preparing meals according to nutrition needs and maintaining safety standards.

We are a long-term skilled nursing care facility dedicated to promoting a healthy, meaningful and secure environment for adults of all ages. We are currently looking for a part-time Cook to join our team!

What you will do:

• Work 1pm - 7pm the following schedule:
  • Week 1: Monday, Saturday & Sunday
  • Week 2: Monday & Friday
• Organize and prepare food according to the nutrition need of Gundersen Health System patients, employees, customers and other outside groups while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation and safety.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards
• Clean and sanitized equipment and work area as needed.

What you will need:

• REQUIRED High School Diploma or equivalency or current student status

What will you get:

• $19.50/hour -$23.85/hour (dependent on experience)
