Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a PM Line Cook for our full scratch kitchen in Redding, CA. The role requires 2–5 years on a fast-paced line and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences to residents and guests.

Shifts are 11:30 AM to 8 PM on weekends; pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. We offer comprehensive benefits, meal perks, and opportunities for growth within our team.

Qualifications

• Line cook experience in a Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant.
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station.
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff.
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont may require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines for health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Cook on the PM line (11:30AM-8PM) and participate in meal preparation.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
• Collaborate with team to provide exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests.
