Job summary

Monarch Communities in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a per diem cook to join our dining team. You will prepare menu items, accommodate special diets, and maintain high safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ServSafe certification, and at least one year of food prep experience. Flexible scheduling, potential for on‑the‑job training, and free parking are available.

Per Diem Schedule

Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Physical Abilities

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
