AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and dependable Full-time Cook at Perseus House Charter School in downtown Erie, PA. The role runs 6:45am–2:30pm Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays, following the school calendar.

Responsabilités

• Please customers by providing a pleasant dining experience.
• Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen.
• Attend to the detail and presentation of each order.
• Place and expedite orders.
• Prepare ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients.
• Complete hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
• Stores leftovers according to established standards.
• Prepare breakfast & lunches, documenting safe cooking temperature logs.
• Utilize convection ovens, a steamer, hotbox & three pot sink-measuring and documenting chemicals safely for sanitizer.
• Daily responsibility of keeping food safety logs for all shipments received, coolers and freezer units remaining in safe temperature zones.
• Weekly inventory and daily communication of products needed with Chef manager.
• Working daily in the kitchen with students.
• Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with the team.

This position is scheduled 6:45am-2:30pm Monday through Friday no weekends or holidays and will follow the school schedule.
