Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Sun City, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals for residents, following established recipes and safety standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a passion for delivering a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of cooking experience in similar settings, emphasizes safety, and can work weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience in a similar position.
• Experience preparing meals for large groups preferred.
• Knowledge of special diets and dietary restrictions preferred.
• Current Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one as required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and assigned shifts.

About the Position

Our Cooks play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. You will prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious, and appealing meals while following established recipes, food safety guidelines, and company standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to serving others.

This is a part-time position with 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts. Weekend availability is required.
