Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare all food per daily planner and standard recipes, and to work the food line during meals. You will ensure safety and sanitation compliance and strive to meet resident and guest needs with a responsive, friendly approach.

This role offers hourly pay and benefits as part of Senior Lifestyle's comprehensive package. Good English communication and basic computer skills (Excel/Word) are required, with licenses to be obtained if not already

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets is preferred.
• Clear and effective English communication.
• Willingness to obtain food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills; entry-level proficiency with Excel and Word is required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

• Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00.

Qualifications

• You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• You have and/or are willing to obtain the necessary food handling and sanitation licenses.
• You have basic computer skills. Entry level proficiency with Excel and Word is required.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
