Rotary Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our dining services team. Cooks prepare nutritious meals while forming relationships that positively impact residents’ lives in a supportive care community.

We offer part-time shifts, including early mornings and afternoons, with every-other-weekend rotation. Prior restaurant or healthcare cooking experience is valued, along with strong customer service and the ability to follow care plans and directions.

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience serving in the restaurant industry or customer service; healthcare cook experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions.
• Interact professionally with residents, families and staff.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS:

Part-Time

Sun - Sat 1st shift 6:00 am - 1:00 pm(every other weekend)

OR

Sun - Sat 2nd shift 1:00 pm - 7 pm (every other weekend)

Rotary Senior Living is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) featuring 38-units of Independent Living (IL) duplexes surrounding the campus, a 10-unit Assisted Living (AL) with Memory Support, a Residential Care facility with 15-beds, a 46-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and a Wellness Center that includes a gym, pool and outpatient therapy.

JOB SUMMARY:

Cooks ensure that resident meals are prepared per residents’ care plans, focusing on quality, appearance, cleanliness, and sanitation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience serving within the restaurant industry and/or in a customer service role. Experience as a Cook within a healthcare setting is highly desired.
• Ability to read and understand directions.
• Able to interact professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
