The role involves operating kitchen equipment safely, helping establish efficient production lines, and delivering nutritious, well-presented meals with a positive community presence. Leadership and the ability to supervise staff are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience required.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines is required.
• Leadership ability and ability to supervise staff.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods is common in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assures all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operate all kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist in establishing food production line to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Represent the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with potential residents and families.
• Prepares and serves nutritious meals with high quality presentation and flavor.
