Job summary

Maschio's Food Service Inc. in New Jersey is hiring a school cook for the Toms River area. The position is Monday–Friday, day shift, 4–6 hours daily with summers off, working on-site in a school food service environment.

Responsibilities include preparing hot and cold meals, following NSLP guidelines, stocking, serving, and basic cashier duties, while maintaining safety and PPE protocols and cleaning routines.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience required; K-12 experience a plus.
• ServSafe certification a plus; must obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.
• Follow menus and recipes according to NSLP guidelines.
• Adhere to safety and food handling procedures.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Stocking and serving duties.
• Cash register operations and related tasks.
• Cleaning and related duties.
