Job summary

WC Health in Las Vegas is hiring a full-time Cooks/Kitchen Helper to assist in the serving and preparation of food and to maintain good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least three months in a food service setting, and an active Food Handler Safety Training Card; you must pass a background check and a drug test. This role may require working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The Cooks/Kitchen Helper Position is responsible for assisting in the serving and preparation of food. In addition, maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas

Essential Functions:

• Knowledgeable in proper cooked and uncooked food temperatures
• Knowledge of all safety guidelines in kitchen
• Cleans and checks service equipment
• Able to identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen facilities
• Assists in moving and storing supplies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to have a highly motivated and energetic personality.
• Working Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.

Position Type: Full-time

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to carry 25-50 lbs.
• Able to stand for multiple hours.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
