Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in Dana Point, CA, seeks a Cook II to join our SombraTeam. As a Station Cook, you will prepare high-quality dishes, manage guest orders, and contribute to a warm, hospitality-driven dining experience.

Bring solid cooking skills, a passion for guest satisfaction, and the ability to work at a fast pace across multiple stations. Our resort offers award-winning service within the Hilton portfolio.

Responsabilités

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Delight our guests by efficiently managing guest orders and dining experiences.
• Execute advanced cooking techniques (sauces, roasting, grilling, plating) and assist with station independence as needed.
• Inspect all preparations and plates before serving to ensure quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; keep stations stocked and sanitary while following food safety protocols.
• Manage multiple tickets/orders, assist with training, and step in for minor supervisory duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations to protect guests and team members.

• Execute advanced cooking techniques: Maintain a strong knowledge of more advanced cooking (e.g., sauces, roasting, grilling, plating) with the possibility of working a station independently as needed

• Inspect and finalize plates: Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols

• Manage product and operational needs: Manage multiple tickets/orders at once, assist with training, and step in for minor supervisory duties as needed

• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
