Sodexo is hiring a Cook II at ECU Health North Hospital in North Carolina. The role focuses on preparing and presenting nutritious hot and cold dishes with a strong emphasis on customer service.

The candidate should be flexible with shifts, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities include reading recipes, portioning, operating a grill station, and supporting management in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Experience in food preparation and serving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for meals (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
• Read and follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing various food items.
• May operate a grill station and serve customers a la carte.
• Support management in daily oversight of key functions during the shift.
• Attend work on scheduled shift with timely attendance.
