Job summary

Sodexo Live at Hard Rock Stadium is looking for a Cook II to join our culinary team in Miami. You will prepare nutritious dishes, focus on customer service, and help reduce food waste with a positive, team-first attitude.

You’ll read recipes, portion and cook for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. The role is full-time with varying shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of related work experience preferred.
• Team-oriented, adaptable and reliable with a focus on a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and/or cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
• Read and follow recipes and product directions.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte station or operate a grill.
• Assist management with daily operations and staff oversight.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regular attendance.
• Other duties as required by client needs.

Pay Range: $23 - $25

What You’ll Do:

As a Cook II at Sodexo Live, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, may include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
• May support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
