Hotel Equities is seeking a dependable Cook I in Jonesboro, AR to join our team. This role supports hotel operations by preparing, serving, and coordinating quality food with exceptional guest service.

The pay range is USD $13.00 - USD $14.00 per hour, reflecting entry-level responsibilities in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will follow established recipes and safety standards, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with culinary and hotel teams to ensure a welcoming dining experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred for supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and respond to requests promptly.
• Prepare, serve, or support food and beverage products according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible service requirements.
• Monitor supplies and communicate inventory or replenishment needs.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, stocking, and cleaning of food and beverage areas.
• Respond to guest concerns and seek management assistance when needed.
• Work with culinary, restaurant, banquet, and hotel teams.
• Follow cash-handling, POS, and company procedures when applicable.
• Support events, banquets, and other operational needs.

Job Purpose

The Food & Beverage position supports the hotel's food and beverage operations by preparing, serving, or coordinating quality products and exceptional guest service. This position follows established standards for food safety, cleanliness, presentation, and service while contributing to an efficient and welcoming dining experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and respond to requests promptly.
• Prepare, serve, or support food and beverage products according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work and service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible service requirements.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Work in hot, cold, wet, or otherwise varying environments as required.
