Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting standards and maintaining proper serving temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and organizes refrigerators/storage, follows safe food-handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment and assists in production planning and record keeping.
• Reports maintenance needs or faulty equipment to the supervisor and participates in safety meetings.
