Job summary

Stinker Stores is hiring a Cook for graveyard shifts at our WY location. You’ll prepare meals, handle kitchen equipment, and ensure food safety with strict HACCP adherence.

The role includes receiving and labeling goods, maintaining inventory, and working in a cool environment. Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must complete food safety class within 90 days of hire date.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work from floor to eye level.
• Able to work in a cooler at approximately 32°F.

Responsibilities

• Keep food safe by following health and safety guidelines and proper storage.
• Cook using grills and fryers and follow recipes.
• Handle kitchen gadgets and operate equipment safely.
• Receive, inspect, package, label and date products with accuracy.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and document verifications.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and rotated inventory.

Hours: Full time, 30 to 40 hours a week.

Schedule: Graveyard 10pm to 6 am- Days and times may vary; including weekends, evenings, and some holidays

Cook

As a cook, you’ll chop, sauté, and flip your way through meals like a culinary prodigy, following recipes to perfection. You’ll assist the team, serve up food faster than you can say "order up!", operating kitchen gear, keeping it safe (no kitchen catastrophes, please), and maintaining supply inventory. Plus, you'll clean, inspect, maintain, and stock- making sure everything’s fresh and properly labeled. Basically, you’re the sizzle behind the scenes!

What You’ll Do

• Keep food safe and sound by following health and safety guidelines- no spills, no thrills, just proper storage and handling.
• Cook up a storm using a variety of methods and tools, including grills and fryers.
• Master the kitchen gadgets like a pro (slicers, mixers, fryers) while following safety expectations- there won’t be any missing fingers on our watch!
• Receive, inspect, package, label and date products with eagle-eyed precision.
• Stick to the HACCP guidelines like a pro, including verification and documentation of product – nothing slips past you!
• Clean like you’re trying to impress your mom, and make sure inventory is always fresh and rotated.

What You’ll Need

• Must be at least 19 years of age or older

• You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need to be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 lbs., and work from floor to eye level.
• Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees (hey, at least it’s not Antarctica).

• Must complete food safety class within 90 days of hire date.
