Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Full-time Cook at Archbishop Alter High School in Kettering, OH. The role follows a Monday–Friday day shift, with no weekends or holidays, aligned to the school schedule. You will prepare and assemble meals, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to menu planning with the team.

Two or more years of cooking experience and strong knowledge of safety procedures are required. Eligible health/dental/vision/life insurance and a 401(k) with company match are offered,

Responsibilities

• Please customers by providing a pleasant dining experience.
• Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen.
• Attend to the detail and presentation of each order.
• Place and expedite orders.
• Prepare ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients.
• Complete hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
• Stores leftovers according to established standards.
• Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with the team.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of a Full-time Cook at Archbishop Alter High School in Kettering, OH. This position will work Monday - Friday, day-shift, no weekends or holidays and will follow the school schedule.
