• Location: Merit Health River Oaks - 1030 River Oaks Drive, Flowood, MS 39232. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Monday - Friday, including rotating weekends. 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No experience required.
• Pay Range: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares food using standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals with correct portioning, ensuring food is at the right temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food.
• Follows ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and stores excess food safely.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers and clients.
• Follows safety standards, including HACCP standards and proper use of protective equipment.
