Spring Oak Senior Living in Warrenton, VA is seeking an experienced cook to join our dining team. The role focuses on preparing dinner, desserts, and snacks for up to 41 residents in a smaller kitchen environment with consistent hours and a supportive team.

Full-time schedule is 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with one weekend day each week (alternating Saturdays and Sundays) and a weekday off. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and Great Place to Work certification.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required.
• Experience in a restaurant, senior living, healthcare, school, or similar food service setting preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals in quantity.

• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve dinner, desserts, and snacks according to established menus and recipes.
• Complete lunch service using food prepared by the morning shift.
• Prepare food and ingredients for the following day.
• Ensure meals are prepared on time, properly portioned, and well presented.
• Assist with meal service, dishwashing, and kitchen cleanup.
• Follow resident dietary requirements and food safety and sanitation procedures.
