Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg seeks a Cook for the 10:30am to 7pm shift to support daily food preparation. You will use standardized recipes, assist with set-up, service and cleanup, and work with the Chef/Production Manager to develop menu items.

The role requires maintaining sanitation standards and confidentiality of resident information. Weekend availability is required; 6 months of professional cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in working in restaurants a plus. Minimum of 6 months professional cooking experience preferred.

Cook 10:30am -7pm at Encore Village of Schaumburg

Responsible for food preparation utilizing standardized recipes and production worksheets; assisting with set-up, service and cleanup of food production; and adherence to cleaning, safety and sanitation standards. In coordination with Chef/Production Manager, develop new menu items and recipes. Inform Chef/Production Manager of inventory requirements in a timely fashion. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure residents' rights and employee confidentiality are protected. Weekend availability is required.
