Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare meals for residents, guests and staff at our West Chester community. You will follow daily plans and standard recipes, work service lines during meals, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.

The role requires clear English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle diverse dietary needs, while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Willingness to obtain food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills; entry level proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
