Job Opening: Cook at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Cook position at Morrison Healthcare.

Location: Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital - 23900 Katy Freeway, Katy, TX 77494. Note: Online applications accepted only.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items using standardized recipes to meet schedules.
2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Follow ticket collection procedures and maintain records.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
6. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
7. Report maintenance issues and participate in safety meetings.
8. Maintain good working relationships with staff and customers.
9. Follow safety standards, including HACCP and proper use of protective gear.
