Job summary

Kingston Bay Senior Living in Fresno, CA is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare fresh meals following recipes and menus, and you’ll work four days per week with varied days.

You’ll help create a welcoming dining experience for residents, ensure meals meet dietary needs, maintain a clean kitchen, and collaborate with dining services and leadership. Prior cooking experience and knowledge of food safety are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking or culinary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are expected.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals following recipes and menu guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with food preparation, inventory management, stocking, and kitchen cleanup.
• Work closely with the dining team to provide an exceptional dining experience for every resident.
• Help create a welcoming dining atmosphere where residents feel cared for and at home.
