About the Position

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time Cook positions at Ascension – Ozaukee (Mequon). Location: 13111 North Port Washington Road, Mequon, WI 53097.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Full‑time and part‑time, days may vary. Regular hours from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM with rotating weekends required.
• Pay Range: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Uses ticket collection procedures and maintains service records.
• Keeps the kitchen clean and organized after service.
• Stores food safely and discards excess per safe food‑handling procedures.
• Maintains refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, ensuring proper storage.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and maintains it as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, reporting, ordering, and receiving of food supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance or accidents to supervisor immediately.
• Attends in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs job safely within a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Personal commitment to safety for self and others.
• Abides by company policies and safety procedures, including wearing appropriate gloves, oven mitts, slip‑resistant shoes, and using proper lifting techniques.
