Job summary

Zaxbys is hiring and expanding its team. Cooks will prepare, cook, and assemble orders, stock inventory, and maintain food safety and cleanliness to ensure a great guest experience.

The role supports both back-of-house operations and guest service, with a focus on following SOPs and promoting Zaxbys brand values. The position offers flexible scheduling, early access to pay, career advancement opportunities, and various employee perks including health insurance and a 401(k) with employer match

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Part-time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week.
• Full-time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests.
• Prepare menu items according to company standards in a safe, sanitary manner.
• Assist with guest service and front of house operations.
• Receive and stock incoming inventory deliveries and maintain product levels in assigned stations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and organize storage areas.
• Complete training requirements including hands-on stations training and Zaxbys Back of House Development Plan.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety guidelines.
• Inform management when inventory is needed and monitor promotions.
