Job summary

Morrison Living in Franklin, WI is hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time Cook position. You will prepare food in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines to ensure quality service at all times.

Prior cooking experience is required. Work schedule includes Monday–Friday with rotating weekends; hours may vary. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, with a robust benefits package and opportunities to grow within a leading hospitality company.

• Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at proper temperature, and is appealing and tasty.
• Tastes all prepared food items.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety policies.
