For more than 100 years, Orchard Ridge Assisted Living has cared for seniors. We are a nonprofit and one of only a few assisted livings awarded the Gold Excellence of Care by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Our team works cooperatively to meet all resident needs.

Days/Hours of Schedule: Full Time/Year Round

Duties for a Cook:

• Assist with meal preparations, including cooking meals as directed by the dietary supervisor.
• Prepare salads, side dishes, soups, desserts, and alternate lunch salad plates.
• Clean the prep area and wash pots, pans, and dishes from Memory Care.
• Assist with catered events and holiday meals as needed.
• Understand and apply portion control.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Be flexible and able to step into any position.
• Meet customer service standards in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
