Job summary

Coal Creek Post Acute & Assisted Living in Lafayette, CO seeks a part-time Cook/Dietary Aide for Saturday and Sunday shifts (11am-7:30pm). You’ll prepare meals for residents per menus, ensuring safety and quality, and contribute to a supportive team culture.

Ideal candidates have a year of cooking experience in long-term care or similar settings, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks. ServSafe is a plus, and a positive, patient attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook in nursing homes, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, or long-term care facilities for at least 1 year.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and Colorado CAPS background check.

Successful Candidates:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook in a nursing home, assisted living, skilled nursing facility or long term care facility for not less than one year.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check Servesafe certification a plus!
• Should have experience as a cook in a hospital or long term care facility for not less than one year.

Rate Range:

$20 - $22/ hour
