LV Petroleum is hiring a Cook for the Denny's inside our travel center in Strafford, MO. The role focuses on preparing meals, ensuring food safety, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to support fast service.

Experience in a restaurant or food service is preferred. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required; weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a diverse range of meals according to our menu and established recipes.
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of food items to maintain food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
