Job summary

The Women's Bar Association Of Illinois seeks an attorney to serve as Cook County Regional Counsel. The role includes providing legal guidance, screening matters for court presentation, and contributing to training on legal issues.

You will periodically visit area offices, prepare memoranda, and stay current with federal and state laws, regulations, and department policy. A law degree and active Illinois license are required.

• Maintains current working knowledge of relevant federal and state statutory and case law, state and federal regulations, and Department policy and procedures.
• Maintains records of activities and actions taken on behalf of the Department and reports to supervisor regarding same.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications
