Job summary

Parkhurst Dining, part of Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, is hiring a cook to join our team. You will prepare food according to our Parkhurst recipes and ensure batch cooking methods are followed to maintain consistency.

You will maintain line presentation and temperatures, communicate daily with line servers, and complete production sheets to help us serve guests with smiles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce batch cooking method.
• Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain quality/quantity during service using production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: use proper pans, garnish, utensils, and maintain serving temperatures as per recipes.
• Maintain open communication with associates about food items daily.
• Complete daily production sheets.

The pay rate for this position starts at $16 / hour. There are multiple schedules available:

• 1:00PM to 9:00PM, Monday through Friday
• 5:30PM to 12:00AM, Monday through Sunday rotating

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and also enforce the “batch” cooking method.
• Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: proper pans are used, pans are garnished, proper utensils are used according to recipe specifications, and food products are maintained at the proper serving temperatures as specified by recipes or management.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other associates, e.g., line servers, concerning specific information about food items on a daily basis.
• Complete daily production sheets.
