Zusammenfassung

Prismhr Hire in Florida is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare meals for residents in accordance with approved menus and safety standards. You will collaborate with the Resident Care Supervisor to help meet resident nutrition and dignity goals while maintaining warm, home-like dining experiences.

Duties include cooking to correct temperatures, recording temperatures, ensuring kitchen cleanliness, accommodating special dietary requests, and following the food code.

• Awareness of elderly needs and dietary requirements.

Aufgaben

• Cook meals according to menus and nutrition guidelines.
• Meet all food nutrition guidelines when preparing foods.
• Cook foods to proper temperatures and hold foods accordingly.
• Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and related areas.
• Operate the dishwasher with correct ppm levels (50-100).
• Maintain knowledge of the food code and safety standards.
• Record food temperatures and temperatures of refrigerators/freezers.
• Keep floors swept, mopped, and sanitized.
• Accommodate special resident dietary requests when possible.
• Answer phones as needed.

SUMMARY:

Performs assigned duties that protect and ensure the safety and dignity of residents. Works together with the Resident Care Supervisor to ensure that resident care goals are being met.

Must be aware and understand the needs of the elderly. Must be able to accommodate and understand diets, diet orders, quantities, special requests, how to follow recipes, and above all put some love into the cooking that is done.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job position requires moderate physical demands. Duties may include frequent walking, stooping/kneeling/bending, lifting/carrying, and pushing/pulling during work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• When using the dishwasher, make sure the ppm is between 50-100

• Keeping the floor swept, mopped, and sanitized
• Meeting any special requests that the residents and we can accommodate
• Answer phones as needed.
