Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a full-time Cook at Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. This action-station role involves preparing meals in view of guests and following established recipes and standards.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with some nights and weekends as needed. Prior cooking experience is preferred and safety standards must be followed to deliver quality meals.

• Prior cooking experience preferred.
• Action station where meals are prepared in front of guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with proper portioning and temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and safe food handling; stores or discards excess food properly.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Adheres to all safety and HACCP standards.
