Job summary

Senior Lifestyle seeks a dedicated kitchen team member to prepare meals for residents, guests, and staff in a supportive community setting.

You will follow daily planners and standard recipes, work the food line during service, and ensure strict safety and sanitation standards are met while delivering prompt, courteous service to residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets preferred.
• Clear English communication required.
• Ability to obtain necessary food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills; Entry level proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Strong problem solving and adaptability in variable situations.
• Positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

• You have and/or are willing to obtain the necessary food handling and sanitation licenses.

• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
