Job summary

Merrill Gardens at West Chester is seeking a Senior Living Cook to prepare meals with a focus on timely service and high quality, in a friendly, team-oriented environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, culinary training, at least 2 years of food prep experience, and the ability to obtain ServSafe certification within 60 days. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality food preparation.

If you are someone with:

• Flexibility with schedule and availability to work early morning and evening shifts as well as weekends and holiday

Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of materials up to 50 lbs. Regular bending, lifting, and reaching are also part of daily responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
