Job summary

Wellsville Health Care Center is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, following established recipes and menu requirements. The role emphasizes proper handling of materials, inventory control, and assisting fellow staff in daily operations in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The position requires adherence to health and safety procedures and willingness to work shifts as directed by the Dietary Director.

• Handle and store raw materials, cooked food, and non-food supplies properly
• Order, restock, and maintain inventories for kitchen supplies and equipment
• Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Follow establishment recipes when preparing meals
• Prepare ingredients in accordance with menu requirements
• Adhere to food health and safety procedures
• Cook, clean, and assist other staff in daily operations
• Deliver food in a fast-paced environment
• Work shifts as assigned by the Dietary Director
