Job summary

Botkin Care and Rehab in Wellington, KS is seeking a cook to join our team. This role prepares meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines, with close attention to quality, safety and sanitary conditions, while providing warm, friendly service in a compassionate setting.

This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities; part-time shifts include days, evenings and weekends. Experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn and strong teamwork are valued

Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.

You prepare meals for our residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines. With a close eye for detail, you ensure the quality and temperature of food items. You take great care to enhance safety and sanitary conditions. You live up to the trust of those in your care by complying with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations, maintaining knowledge of and following all company policies and procedures.
