First Watch is hiring cooks in Washington, DC, offering a people-first culture with no night shifts and opportunities to work in a chef-curated menu environment. You will join a team that values independence, teamwork, and delivering exceptional breakfast, brunch, or lunch experiences.

As a back-of-house team member, you’ll train in a station that fits your comfort and skill, communicate well with others, and follow our acclaimed recipes to serve high-quality, safe food quickly.

About The Position

Our Back-of-the-House team members have a mutual respect for quality food, and they perform their responsibilities as if placing a personal signature on every plate. Newly hired cooks will train in a specific station based on their comfort level & innate skill. In other words, you don’t need to master the art of flipping an egg to work at First Watch (unless you want to!)
