Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Rye Brook is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents in a supportive, restaurant-style dining environment. You will join the kitchen team to ensure high-quality meals and a safe, clean work area.

The role emphasizes building positive relationships with residents and staff, following recipes and schedules, and maintaining hygiene standards. Eligible benefits and competitive hourly wage reflect the organization’s commitment to team wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of residents’ day.

The wage range for this position is $19.00/hr - $22.80/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
