Southeast Polk Community School District is seeking a Cook for Alternative Programs. The position is part-time afternoon hours in the school kitchen, focused on food preparation, serving, and sanitation.
The role requires adherence to HACCP standards and ability to supervise in a classroom setting when needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma, quantity cooking experience preferred, and be able to obtain ServSafe certification within six to twelve months.

To perform all assigned tasks – food preparation, serving, clean-up and scanning with the objective to meet or exceed the expectations of their immediate supervisor and customers. Recognizes always the mission, vision and core values of the District and the Food & Nutrition Department.
The physical demands described above represent real life tasks an employee may need to perform as part of the essential functions of this job.
