Job summary

Sagora Senior Living seeks a Cook for Elison Independent Living of Orchard Glen in Orchard Park, NY. You will prepare à la carte items, monitor stock, and maintain sanitation, while supporting training of the Culinary team.

Requirements include ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit, 1+ year in a commercial kitchen, and strong communication with residents and staff. This PRN role offers competitive starting pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.
