Job summary

Meadowbrook is seeking a Cook to support resident health and happiness through nutritious, well-prepared meals.

You’ll follow daily menus and dietary guidelines, keep a clean, safe kitchen, and collaborate with the Culinary Director and team. If you’re dependable, energetic, and enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to daily menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure residents receive correct diets and portions.
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow all cleaning schedules and food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and Culinary Director.
• Maintain accurate food inventories.
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
• Rotate stock items as needed.
• Restock kitchen supplies when necessary.
• Ensure kitchen and prep areas are cleaned and sanitized at the beginning and end of each shift.
