Job summary

Suring Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary restrictions. You will ensure safe cooking practices, assist with menu planning, and maintain clean, organized kitchen spaces in a collaborative environment.

Experience in large-batch cooking and strong customer service skills are valued, with opportunities for career advancement and benefits such as PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in large batch cooking.
• Strong customer service skills.

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, dietary restrictions and portion guidelines.
• Ensure food is cooked, stored, and served safely, following health and sanitation standards.
• Assist in menu planning and accommodate resident preferences and special diets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure timely meal service.
• Follow all facility, state, and federal guidelines regarding food preparation.
