Job summary

Oklahoma State University Stillwater Campus is hiring a Chick-fil-A team member to support food preparation and service. You will assist in hot and cold foods, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety standards in a fast-paced dining environment.

Hours vary by unit; this full-time role may have limited hours during late spring to late summer. Successful candidates will obtain ServSafe certification after hire and participate in Chick-fil-A training, with lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold foods for Chick-fil-A, including receiving, storing, preparing, and cooking all menu items.
• Properly build sandwiches and package all food items, ensuring food safety.
• Maintain sanitation and safe operation of equipment and work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About this Position

Responsible for the preparation of hot and cold foods associated with Chick-fil-A, including receiving, storing, preparing, and cooking of all menu items, proper building of sandwiches, packaging of all food items and food safety. Responsible for the general upkeep, sanitation, and safe operation of all equipment and work area. Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time position that may not have scheduled hours during the month of mid-May to mid-August, unless work is available. This position involves heavy manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and over 50 pounds occasionally.

Required Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

ServSafe certification after hire. Chick-fil-A franchise training after hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of food preparation work experience.
